“I started working at Roloff 15 years ago and I have worked my way up!  I’ve built a career here because the pay and the benefits are really good.  I also appreciate having paid vacation, and I actually like the winter layoff and getting a break when it is cold!

I started as a laborer on a pipe crew, then moved to pipe layer, then became a loader operator and now I operate an excavator doing backfill work.  Someday I hope to dig mainline, maybe in a year or two.  The things that these machines can do are amazing!  I’m proud of the work we do.  It is cool to think of all the house and business developments that have gone up because of the underground pipe work we did to make that possible!
